A comment on a previous post made me think about political correctness and how everything has to be that was nowadays.
To me the PC world has gone mad; OK, it's unfair to blatantly discriminate against a particular group of people but to have a laugh occasionally, well what's wrong with that?
I mean, many of the blogs here are 'crip' this or 'gimp' that - both being nasty generalisations about disabled people but do we kick up a fuss about it and boycott their blogs??? - do we heck as like, we have a laugh with them.
I think it's time for people to calm down before we are not allowed to even open our mouths anymore.
Some people seem to see everything said as a racist/homophobic/disablist/sexist etc.etc. comment when all too often it isn't.
I think we should all relax a bit, stop being so uptight and learn to laugh a little :-)

Too many people are politically correct because they think they will be shot down if they say the wrong word.
It has gotten a bit daft now as you can't even say the word blackboard.
Eh, I think it's one of those "being in the club" things.
If a woman walked up to me and said, "Whassup Bitch?", I probably wouldn't care very much.
If a man walked up to me and said, "Whassup Bitch?" I'd probably give him a real bitchslap. Verbally, not literally of course. LOL
