Why's Wembley half empty?

Tell me why Wembley is only half full for the LiveEarth concert??

Are people not bothered or are these large events old-hat now?

p.s. Genesis are just starting - fantastic.

Can't wait for Spinal Tap!!!

Thanks for stopping by my little travel blog! I hope that you can make it to the Golden Gate Bridge some day if that is your desire. As for wheel chair access friendliness, I have no clue! ~ jb///

I suppose people know that they can just watch it on TV

I think because the days of the super bands are over. A lot of the bands on the bill are famous and have been around, but people's tastes have changed since, for example, Live Aid. I know personally, I have no need for the U2s and Madonnas of the world. In my case as well, the fact that Al Gore has something to do with all of this really disinterests me. These giant world wide concerts seem like a lot of celebrity bluster. I am surprised they did not make this a pay per view event

I guess you can see what my attitude is.
